Week 1: I Love Paris

Hello my lovely fashionistas! So some of you have heard about this awesome project called " Live to Blog Project by Heny Hax" It's a great opportunity for us bloggers to display our talents and get creative. Every week there's a challenge theme and for our first challenge it's " I Love Paris"

So I thought about it and to me personally when I think of Paris, France, I think of Love and Fashion. Now the first reason is very obvious being that France is the country of love, at least that's what is said. The second reason is because if you look at the history of fashion it's self in Europe, France was the advanced in their fashion and stepping up their game every season, no matter how ridiculous we would have thought it was, because of them fashion as we know it has great designs today. I also did a really asking around to see what others thought when they thought of our theme, I got the usual answers from Wine and Cheese to the Eiffel tower. I sat for a bit thinking about what concept I'd come up with to incorporate everything.  Now the photos I've taken just didn't do it for me, I felt like something was missing when I first shot photos on the Paris 1900's sim. Then I tried a couples shot which you'll see below, but I still felt like something was missing.

Now to my final choice. What led me to do solo shots in this beautiful dress was the fact that I had read this French quote, "Je serai poète et toi poésie " Which is by François Coppée and it translates to " I'll be a poet, and you'll be poetry" a very simple and romantic quote. Keeping it romantic and simple like the quote it's self, I went with this beautiful white Summerwind dress by Zanze. Which I thought was perfect because it's not to ball gown, it's not to casual. It has amazing sparkling details, the sweetheart neckline, it just reminded me of sweet innocents, when your young and in love kind of innocents. I also added the 'Esme' collection by Lazuri to add some color to the fit it's self, I had it with the beautiful dark silver metal, Emerald and Diamond gems. When it came to my hair, I wanted the sweet girl next door all most. So I went with a lovely long hairstyle that had a bump in the back to give that nice elegant height and it also had this nice braid like headband. It's called 'Genesis' by Truth Hair. I must say it just all came together perfectly to me.
